Archimedes at Greeks in AI 2026

Archimedes took part in Greeks in AI 2026, the annual symposium that brings together distinguished Greek AI scientists from around the world to exchange ideas, share their work and strengthen connections across the global AI community. The symposium was held on 15–17 July 2026 at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens.

Archimedes was proud to contribute to the symposium with five highlights that brought together research, community and recognition:

  1. Supporting organization: Archimedes was a supporting partner of Greeks in AI 2026.
  2. Organising committee: Maria Vakalopoulou, Kostas Daniilidis and Efstratios Gavves served on the organising committee.
  3. The Archimedes Feast: held on 15 July 2026 at the Eugenides Foundation, the event included the presentation of the Olympiad awards to the Greek National AI Team, a panel discussion on Archimedes’ vision, activities, experiences and future, a talk by Professor Christos Papadimitriou, and a welcome reception and poster session featuring research by Archimedes collaborators.
  4. Fellowship awarded to an Archimedes Ph.D. student: Giannis Kalogeropoulos received the Bodossaki Foundation – Greeks in AI Visiting Fellowship.
  5. Showcasing 45 publications: Archimedes researchers presented 45 publications, including 11 oral presentations and 34 posters.
