RESEARCH INTERESTS
Vasilikiās research interests include causality and fairness in Data Science and Machine Learning. Specifically, her research will focus on areas such as explainable fairness in networks and explainability of algorithms that operate on graphs, such as graph neural networks.
SHORT BIO
Vasiliki holds a Diploma degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Ioannina.
She has research and work experience on machine learning and artiļ¬cial intelligence algorithms. Her thesis was on predicting changes in cluster membership in evolutionary social networks and an internship on recommender systems at Terracom. From 2022 to 2023 she was a ML/AI Researcher at a team at University of Ioannina on a project which deals with the development of automated tools using machine learning and deep learning to understand, evaluate and deal with misinformation on health issues in in cooperation with Pļ¬zer CDI at University of Ioannina.
