Short Bio:

Georgios Mermigkis received his 5-year Diploma from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID) at the University of Patras, Greece, in 2025. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the same department. He is also a Collaborating Researcher at the Industrial Systems Institute, Athena Research Center, Patras, Greece, a Research Affiliate at the Applied Computational Engineering Lab of New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), and a Technical Assistant at the Computer Centre of CEID. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing, with a primary focus on Explainable Artificial Intelligence, trustworthy intelligent systems, and Large Language Models.
