Christos Tzamos

Christos Tzamos is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the University of Athens. His research interests lie in the interface of Theoretical Computer Science with Economics and Game Theory, Machine Learning, Statistics and Probability Theory.
He was an Assistant Professor at University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research. He obtained his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) advised by Constantinos Daskalakis and his BSc from National Technical University of Athens (UoA).
He has received the NSF CAREER award, a Simons Foundation award, the George M. Sprowls award for the best EECS PhD thesis at MIT, the best paper and the best student paper award in the ACM conference on Economics and Computation 2013 and the outstanding paper award in NeurIPS 2019.
