Archimedes Open Day was an extraordinary success!

ARCHIMEDES on April 25th hosted an afternoon filled with insightful discussions and networking opportunities in our location in Marousi.

Our guests received a warm welcome from Timos Sellis, Scientific Director of ARCHIMEDES, who provided an engaging introduction to our organization's activities. This set the stage for an enlightening presentation by Constantinos Daskalakis, Professor at MIT and esteemed member of ARCHIMEDES' Leadership Team, who shared his perspectives on how ARCHIMEDES will help advance the Greek ecosystem through AI. Following this, Maggie Athanassiadi, Director of Industry, Development, Technology & Innovation Department at SEV, emphasized the pressing need to integrate AI into more businesses and highlighted the crucial link between research and industry. Then Aimilios Chalamandaris, Head of Research & Development at Samsung Electronics Greece and former member of the National Council for Research, Technology, and Innovation stresed the vital role of research in fostering innovation and expressed his eagerness to explore potential research collaborations with Archimedes.
