Nikos Komodakis
Assistant Professor

Nikos Komodakis is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department, University of Crete as well as a member of the Institute of Applied & Computational Mathematics, FORTH. Prior to that, he was an Associate Professor at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, a research scientist at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), and a visiting Professor at Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan. He received his Habilitation degree (HDR, habilitation to conduct research) from the University of Paris-Est and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Crete. His research interests are in the areas of Computer Vision/Image Analysis, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He is an Editorial Board Member/Associate Editor of the Computer Vision and Image Understanding Journal, International Journal of Computer Vision and Computational Intelligence Journal.
