Short Bio

Nikolaos Koutroumanis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Archimedes AI unit within the Athena Research Center, working primarily with Professor Nikos Mamoulis. He obtained his PhD from the Department of Digital Systems in the University of Piraeus under the supervision of Professor Christos Doulkeridis, participating in several EU and Greek-funded research projects.

Research Interests

His research interests lie in the field of data management, particularly in distributed/parallel data processing, indexing and query optimization, with special focus on spatial and spatio-temporal data.

 
 

The project “ARCHIMEDES Unit: Research in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Algorithms” with code OPS 5154714 is implemented by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” and is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
