Short Bio

Georgios Paximadakis is a PhD Candidate at the University of Ioannina, Greece, supported by a scholarship from the Archimedes Research Unit at the Athena Research Center. His doctoral research focuses on "Geometric Operators and Generic Parametric Modelling for AI-Based Shape Optimization in Maritime Engineering."

Georgios holds an Integrated BEng and MSc degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Ioannina has developed multiple projects using Java, Python, C++. Beyond his academic work, Georgios implemented Virtual Reality projects with Unreal Engine and Unity.

Research Interests

His research interests lie at the intersection of geometric modelling, artificial intelligence, parametric design, shape optimization and visualization, with applications in maritime engineering.

 
 

The project “ARCHIMEDES Unit: Research in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Algorithms” with code OPS 5154714 is implemented by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” and is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
