
Georgios Anagnostopoulos
Short Bio
George Anagnostopoulos is appointed as a post-doc researcher at the Archimedes Research Unit, working with Dr Panagiotis Kaklis. George holds a PhD in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK), with his thesis titled, "Time-Dependent Bipartite Social Networks (TDBSNs) in Naval Ship Design: Enhancing Process Efficiency and Reducing Rework". During his PhD, George was affiliated with BAE Systems - Naval Ships. George also holds an MEng in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK) and a BEng in Naval Architecture from the University of West Attica (UNIWA) (Athens, Greece). In addition, George holds a Data Science Professional Certificate by IBM and Applied Social Network Analysis Certificate by the University of Michigan. George has conducted theoretical and applied research on topics on the intersection of fluid dynamics, parametric modelling, shape optimization, data science and machine learning. In addition, he performed educational activities such as tutorials and teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
