Dimitris Lazarou is the acting Head of Communications & Stakeholder Relations at Archimedes Research Unit of the Athena Research Center, Greece and specializes in dissemination and exploitation of research results.

He has previously held roles in digital communications, digital marketing, and corporate branding at EFG Eurobank, Pet City Group, J. Walter Thompson Athens (also known as Spot Thompson), and Enzyme marketing agency in Athens, Greece. He also worked for a travel-tech startup based in Bucharest, Romania, with operations and sales across Romania, Italy, and Spain.

Dimitris holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Warwick, UK, and a Master's degree in Management from the London School of Economics, UK. He has a strong interest in political structures, international relations, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the social sciences.

In addition, he serves as a Board Member of the Hellenic Alumni Association of the London School of Economics for the 2024–2026 term.
