Dimitrios Tzionas has received a diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2009) and a PhD from the University of Bonn, Germany (2017). He has held positions as a Research Scientist (2018-2022) and as a Post-Doctoral researcher (2016-2018) at the Perceiving Systems (PS) department at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (MPI-IS). Since 2022, he is an Assistant Professor for 3D Computer Vision at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). He is a recipient of the ERC Starting Grant (2024 call).
