Title: Cognitive Legged Robots for Real-World Applications
Presenter: Professor Dimitrios Kanoulas(Professor at University College of London)
Abstract: Attaining animal-like cognition for robot loco-manipulation in uncertain environments is a largely open problem. This talk will focus on some of our latest results for robot locomotion/navigation and manipulation, that were applied on several
real-world robots, including quadrupeds, animaloids, and humanoids.
Bio: Dimitrios Kanoulas is Professor in Robotics & AI at University College London (UCL), Department of Computer Science and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. He is leading the Intelligent Robotics group at UCL East, while working in the field of cognitive robotics,
especially for robots with limbs, such as quadrupeds, humanoids, and animaloids.
